Specifications of Clark Forklifts
Types
Clark manufactures an array of forklift trucks including narrow aisles, pneumatic trucks and cushion trucks. The different kinds differ in terms of the way they operate. For example, heavy-duty forklifts used for agriculture and construction are powered by an internal combustible engine. Narrow aisle models designed to be used inside warehouses and different other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.
Lifting Capacity
According to the type of Clark forklift trucks, the lifting capacity can vary. Battery-powered forklifts have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion types are suggested. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.
Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are utilized to power Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC or Internal Combustion types have automatic transmission with three-speed, two-speed and single-speed types.
Frame/Cab
The frame/cab assembly is in the center of the forklift and includes overhead protective cover for the operator, the seat and controls. The frame consist of the engine, fuel tank, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
